Mornings on the Farm,
Day Lessons & Kinder Program

NEW PROGRAM - Mornings on the Farm!
Mornings on the Farm is the perfect place to be for all kids this Summer. Why let them sit and watch TV or veg out behind those electronic devices when your child can be a part of a working ranch. Kids who attend the Mornings on the Farm program will arrive bright and early to learn and participate in the care of animals at Kula Ranch. Goats, Cows, Chickens, Bunnies, Sheep, Horses and more friendly animals will be waiting each and every day for those who come. Feedings, exercise, stable management are part of every session. The large variety of crops grown on the farm are also part of the program. Kids will learn about a wide variety of garden practices. The wooded area on the farm is also explored on hikes that teach of benefits gained by our tree lots. Kids 6 and over will love to get the fresh air, loads of exercise and a chance to spend some time with our favorite animals. The Kula Ranch Commercial kitchen will provide a fresh baked goodie to all but a sack of snacks and a beverage are suggested.

Mornings on the Farm Program:

Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
$30.00 Daily 10 session pre-pay package $275.00

Day Program:
Upon arriving, students (ages 7 & up) are instructed on safety rules and their importance while around horses. Daily chores of feeding, grooming, stable cleaning, bathing and all aspects of stable management are practiced. Students learn of the horses diet to include vitamins, minerals, fly control, protective tack for horses safety and the overall health and happiness of each and every horse at our farms.

Each day students participate in a formal riding lesson in our 225 x 175' riding arena. Here the proper fundamentals are taught to rider (both English and Western) to ensure safety and the ability to navigate the horses properly. Safety is first and each rider is treated individually by their own levels of experience. We teach the true beginner up to the more experienced riders.

Daily trail rides are enjoyed when riders are capable and ready to experience this safely. (Hard Hats are required at all times and supplied by us) Horses are often sweaty in summer, bathing is a daily chore, along with every feeding, and all students work all day to take care of our best friends...our horses!

Students may sign up for one week, or come over the entire summer. We have some kids that come everyday, all summer long!

Our daily lesson program is an excellent way to give your child the chance to really get to learn about horses. We have more than 15 kids that are part of our show team. We build life long friendships and offer a safe, happy environment. We pride ourselves with the caliber of students our program develops.
